Score. Open-Meteo gives us a marine model: wave height, period, swell direction, wind. Beaukiez applies a per-spot face correction (multiplier + windowed-median anchor calibrated against NDBC buoy observations where buoy coverage exists) so deepwater forecasts become realistic face heights at the break you would actually surf. Skill-level adjustment is layered on top. Where a nearby buoy exists we track forecast-vs-observed error per spot; spots without buoy coverage are labeled as model estimates.
Travel. Every break is paired with real flight prices from your origin airport, hotels nearby, surf camps, lessons, gear rental, travel insurance and eSIM — one tap each, through trusted partners. You pay the same price; we earn a referral commission.
